Fields
| Field | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
API KeyapiKey | password | Yes | Your Autopilot API key. |
Getting your credentials
- Sign in to your Autopilot account.
- Open the settings area and find the section covering API keys or integrations.
- Generate an API key and copy it.
- Paste it into the credential’s API Key field in BusyBot.
Permissions and scopes
The key acts on the account that issued it. If you manage more than one Autopilot account, make sure the key came from the one whose contacts the workflow should touch.
Troubleshooting
- 401 Unauthorized — the key is wrong or was regenerated. Copy the current value from Autopilot and update the credential.
- Contacts not appearing — confirm you are looking at the same Autopilot account the key belongs to.
Frequently asked questions
Does one key cover the node and the trigger?
Yes — both declare the same credential type, so a single credential serves them.
What happens if I regenerate the key?
The old value stops working immediately, so update the credential in BusyBot or workflows using it will start failing.
Which account's data will I see?
The account the key belongs to. If you manage several, make sure the key came from the right one.
