Analytics integrations and nodes

Analytics nodes pull reports out of measurement tools and push events into them. Google Analytics and Google Ads return report and campaign data, Metabase exports question results, Splunk runs search jobs, and PostHog and Segment record events and identify users. There are no triggers in this category, so an analytics workflow usually runs on a schedule or starts from an event in another category.

11 nodes. Every page documents the shipped node: real parameters, real outputs, real error behaviour.

Reports out, events in

Most nodes here read. Google Analytics returns GA4 and Universal Analytics reports with your chosen metrics, dimensions and date ranges. Google Ads returns campaigns and their metrics for an account, filtered by status or date range. Metabase exports question results as CSV or XLSX and manages alerts. Splunk creates search jobs with an SPL query and returns their results. ProfitWell returns revenue metrics such as MRR, churn and lifetime value, and Marketstack returns end-of-day stock prices.

Two nodes write. PostHog creates events, identifies users and tracks page and screen views, and Segment identifies users, tracks events and records page views, so a workflow can report what it did into the same place product events go.

The rest administer or score. Grafana manages dashboards, teams and users, Orbit manages community members and their activities, and Google Perspective scores text for toxicity.

Triggers

There are no triggers in this category. Run an analytics workflow on a schedule, start it by hand with Manual Trigger, or start it from a trigger in another category.

Example workflows

  • Weekly traffic note. Google Analytics gets a GA4 report for the last 7 days with sessions and page views, OpenAI Chat summarizes it with a system prompt, and HTML puts the summary into an email template.
  • Screen comments before publishing. Google Perspective scores a comment for toxicity, If branches on the score, and PostHog records a custom event for each comment that was held back.
  • Campaign export. Google Ads gets campaign metrics for the last 30 days, Edit Fields keeps the fields the report needs, and Convert to File converts the rows to an Excel XLSX file.

Frequently asked questions

Can an analytics node start a workflow?

No. This category has no triggers. Put an analytics workflow on a schedule to produce a regular report, start it from a trigger in another category, or start it by hand with Manual Trigger.

What credentials do analytics nodes need?

Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Perspective each use their own Google OAuth2 credential type, and Google Ads also needs a developer token. Grafana, Marketstack and PostHog take an API key, Splunk an auth token, Segment a write key, ProfitWell an API token, Orbit an access token, and Metabase a URL with a username and password.

How do analytics nodes combine with AI and core nodes?

A reporting workflow usually fetches numbers, has a model describe them, and turns the result into a file or a message. ProfitWell returns daily MRR and churn metrics for the current month, Gemini Chat summarizes them with a system prompt, and Convert to File exports the rows to an Excel XLSX file to go with the summary.
